I had my doctor tell me off one hospital stay, because I was accused

of eating Mcs French Fries. Yes there was a Mcs bag in

my trash can, and yes there was a bag with some fries in there, but

I didn't eat them. My mother had brought my daughter in to visit me

and they got themselves McD's for their lunch. I had no problem with

them eating it in my room. My door was open, my room was across from

the nurses lunchroom, and they would look in at me and vice versa at

times...but an LPN ? went and told my doctor that my pain was

increased because she saw me eating fries.

Even my mother had a word with the doctor stating that she never

lies (which she never has, not even if it was to get one of her

children out of trouble), and they were hers and my daughter's lunch

and threw the bag in my bin...but no, every change of shift after

that I was told to not eat anything anyone brought in, or they would

discharge me. It was also still put on my charts.

I could never keep food down at that time unless it was liquids, and

I'm not stupid enough to deliberately give myself extreme bouts of

pain when already in pain....

Think i'll ask for a lie detector test should anything like that

ever happen again.
