Guest guest
Thank you for the great suggestion re. adding baking soda to the beans. They were SO tender!!!!!! Is it possible to do a quick prep of beans and have them be scd legal? On the package it recommends boiling them for two minutes and then soaking. Would this cut the soaking time a little? I just started the beans, and would like to serve them for dinner tonight (and not at 8 pm either!) Thanks, Ellen 9 y/o dd scd since 5/06 for crohn's
Guest guest
Hi Ellen, Nope, you need to soak them for the allotted time of 8-12 hrs (overnight) to remove starches.
