Guest guest
Mindi, Please, never say you are sorry for a long post! Gee, after a while here, you will find that your post was much shorter than most! My heart goes out to you and your child. The only thing that I can tell you is that your son does have raised amylase levels. He suffers quietly and, in a way, it is good that he really does not know what " normal " is for pain. He my just seem " uncomfortable, " but I am sure he is hurting more than you will know. He just does not have the vocabulary and perspective yet. Gee, so much of this illness in your family is rather disconcerting and I could never imagine what you and your family go through. Hang in there and good luck.
