Guest guest
I have been having very severe and unstable diabetes. My blood sugars run from 40 to 350. This can make me feel very ill. I no longer know my insulin to carb ratio and my daily Lantus has been increased almost 10 units. And, nothing changed in my routine. I am thankful that I see a new Endocrinologist Monday. Has anyone every used the medtronic continuous glucose monitoring system through their doctor's office? I have read some interesting facts about the cgms and am looking forward to finally obtaining some data. Right now I check my blood sugar almost hourly since I no longer have hypoglycemia awareness. We have the alarm set up for night when I [try] to sleep. Hopefully I will gain some stability following this new assessment and care plan revision.
