Guest guest
, You didn't offend anyone when you talked about addiction.....please don't feel that's why I wrote back. I just wanted to explain the difference to you because you're part of our family now and I wanted you to know how we feel about being called " addicts " or drug seekers. If ever the time comes that you have to go to an ER for help with the pain from an attack, you may stumble upon the same ignorance by the staff yourself, and knowing the distinction would help prepare you to defend yourself in that event. Of course, I pray that you never will have to do either......go to the ER, OR defend yourself from ignorant comments of others. Your gastro doctor sounds like what we call a real " Keeper " ! He sounds so very much like my own gastro, in mannerism and attitude, that it's easy for me to understand why you love him, because I think the world of mine. I had some terrible problems with the first GI that treated me, so after I fired him I was initially cautious about trusting another doctor. The man I found turned out to be so superior to the first doctor that I couldn't believe how fortunate I was to have found him. Your doctor sounds like he'll do everything he can to find out exactly what your problems are, and the best way to treat you. He's the type of specialist that many of our members are always looking for, so if you wouldn't mind giving us his name, address, telephone number and those type of particulars, we could enter his name in our Doctor's Database file. We are always looking for good specialist's that we can refer to other members in need. With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Guest guest
, Thanks so much for sharing the information about your doctor in Sleepy Hollow. I didn't know you were from that illustrous village that legends were made of....haha! I was born in Ithaca, and raised in Lake Placid, NY, and naturally, heard that tale many, many times. I've put your doctor's information into our Doctor Database, so that it could be of use for others in that area. If you aren't already at our Yahoo website, you should be able to get to the location by clicking on the first line below, then clicking on the " Database " heading in the box on the left hand side of the screen, and then clicking on Doctor Database on the next screen. Or, if you can highlight the entire address, it should take you directly to the page. The address was too long to fit on one line. If that won't work, you can type in the entire address into your brower. If you have any problems with this address, let me know. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/pancreatitis/ database?method=reportRows&tbl=10 Your help with this may help another person down the line, so we do appreciate it.
