Guest guest
I'd be happy to. Tell her to email me at rmcorner@..., and that I'll be glad to talk with her via email or telephone. Meleah colicky newborn Is there anyone out there that would consider corresponding with a first time mother of a 4 week old that seems to have colic? She was scd for a few years and then when she got pregnant she ate other stuff. She started back eating scd but the dr said to just take dairy out. The baby is still crying alot and congested after nursing. I know she would appreciate any support someone would give her one on one. Guest guest
Hi there, I feel for colicky babies...so I write this. I say it is more than " just " the milk in her diet. She should go gf at the very least too! IDEAL she should eat SCD...and breast feed as long as she can. Not introducing solids or anything but human milk until 9 months old. Please get in contact with your local La Leche League and do research on DANGEROUS LECTINS, Dangerous grains and review the BTVC book. SCDIET is ideal. Because the dairy is denatured with the 24 hour fermenting process. Most DO NOT HAVE THE casein reaction or allergy to the dairy then. See www.pecanbread.com<http://www.pecanbread.com/> under yogurt....to see what Elaine says. Hope this helps this poor newborns colic. Nobody should have a tummy ache so early in life. It is truly SAD...what the Sadiet (standard American Diet) is doing to our children! Antoinette and family of Five (SCD 2/06)

Thanks Pearl< I think I've always had troubles with yeast and my babies. Does her little one have any white patches in it's mouth? Diaper rash that doesn't clear up easily? Does the baby have " newborn acne " ? I found that my youngest (now 9 months) had all the above from the time she was newborn and I noticed the newborn acne got better when I treated the yeast. Even on SCD, I didn't get it to clear up until I was treated for candida with diflucan (I took it for a month... I actually have another refill to do... my dr and I are having a difference of opinion about how I should treat this with diet as he's not familiar with SCD but that's another story). It's just a thought... I did notice the worse the candida flair, the more colicky she was. Christa
Guest guest
My son had colic at about age 3 months and removing all dairy ceased the colic within 24 hours. That was 13 years ago so I don't think I'd be much help - what about a La Leche League person? I also nursed exclusively for 9 months - no other foods - and he self weaned at age 2.
