Guest guest
I remember buying it for my daughter a while ago over the counter. They used to have it over the counter but I am not sure anymore. I think it had a generic name but it was the same thing. It was much better than the other over the counter medicines. ummrumaisa wrote: can we buy nystatin without prescription? Guest guest
I would give about two ro three drops of grapefruit seed extract, oil of oregano, or olive leaf extract. I believe the carrot juice with garlic remedy calls for juicing two large carrots, and pressing one clove of fresh garlic into it. It doesn't make much juice...maybe 1/4 cup. My personal opinion is to give these natural antifungal remedies in the morning with no probiotics or Candex at the same time. Then, give probiotics and Candex in the evening. It worked well for my son. Meleah nystatin > > > can we buy nystatin without prescription? Guest guest
meleah, how long did it take for your son's yeast infection to disappear? do you now feel comfortable using regular amounts of honey and fruit? did you notice if nuts were a problem while fighting yeast? i too would keep antifungals around for maintenance - my favorite one currently being coconut oil. i love the way it makes my skin feel : ) silvia > I would give about two ro three drops of grapefruit seed extract, > oil of oregano, or olive leaf extract. Guest guest
I'd say I noticed that all gas and burping was gone withint three weeks at the most. It could've been less than that. I just don't remember, and didn't journal it. I really don't give him honey vry often. He will eat the yogurt straight, so I only occassionally add honey as a treat. Otherwise, he only has honey in baked goods. Realisticly, he probably only gets some sort of SCD baked good three times a week or so, but there are spurts where I will give him one every day in the form of a muffin or an occassional cookie. I do always cut the honey in the baked goods by about half, and still think they're plenty sweet. What he eats most that could be a big yeast feeder is fruit. He has two to three servings per day. I limited it to one to two servings while I was first trying to combat the yeast. Once I saw the yeasty symptoms disappearring, I started back to two to three fruit servings per day. I started allowing some raw fruits about two weeks ago, and he seems to handle them just fine now. We're not using the Candex right now. We're just using a daily natural antifungal, and that seems to be doing the job. The raw fruits I've tried are strawberry, pineapple, grape, and apple. Of course, he eats the bananas, too, but those are allowed from right after intro. I did start trying raisins last weekend, and he seems to be OK with those now. I hope we've hit a good milestone here. He's really progressing well ASD wise in all areas, and I hope we can keep the yeast and bacteria in check now without having to remain strictly on all pealed, seeded, and cooked veggies and fruit. Guest guest
i mean where yeast has been a chronic problem. for me, this has shown up as recurrent yeast infections, chronic fatigue, sleep problems, floaters in my eyes, a pale complexion, low body temperature, memory/ concentration problems, and of course a craving for sweets. for my daughter, it shows up as bloated tummy, yeast infections, reflux as a baby, oral thrush. i'm asking this because my chirpractor wants to treat us for yeast, but it involves going on a very restrictive diet for 2 weeks where absolutely no fruit is allowed, nor yogurt, but the results are supposed to be permanent. if it seems like candex and other anti-fungals can do the job while still enjoying minimal amounts of fruit, then i'd rather do that then my doctor's treatment. silvia > Well, I don't know. Guest guest
I can't say that I know for a fact that iel has had chronic yeast because we didn't start any autism intervention until May of last year right when he got his diagnosis. It started then with SCD, and then the biomedical intervention came in July. By that time, that lab work showed no yeast, but our DAN physician said that she knew he had had yeast issues in the past due to some fungus on the toenails that was growing out without new fungus behind it. Before SCD, I had no clue about yeast overgrowth, what to look for, ect. He didn't have reflux or thrush as a baby. He rarely had diaper rash. But, he definitely had bowel issues, echolalia, stimming, ect...all which are said to be partially(if not completely) attributed to yeast overgrowth. If it were me, I'd try the natural antifungals in the morning with Candex and probiotics at night to see if that works first. I'd cut back on the amount of honey and fruit, but you may not have to cut it out completely...just go back to all pealed, seeded, and cooked while you're trying to get it under control. That's just what I would do. Meleah nystatin >>>>> >>>>> >>>>> can we buy nystatin without prescription? Guest guest
That's where the yeast leaves the GI tract (via leaky gut) and invades other organs. Guest guest
You may want to look at the copper imbalance article I posted a few days ago. You may never conquer that level of yeast without addressing copper. - Silvia Payne wrote: did your son have systemic yeast? that's what we're dealing with here. my daughter since birth and me, for as long as i can remember. > I've been really happy with it. > nystatin >>>> >>>> >>>> can we buy nystatin without prescription? Guest guest
Where are they on his skin? When I said yeasty symptoms, I meant gas and burping. My son has had little bumps on the backs of his arms for I don't know how long. It's been over a year for sure. I really don't know when they started. They were still very significant even after being SCD for several months. They did not dimish until be did hyperbaric oxygen treatment(HBOT), ionic foot baths, ect. They completely went away during those three weeks of treatment, and have since come back although not as pronounced. During his treatment time, I had done some research, and learned that these bumps are most commonly an indication of cellular inflammation(which we knew he had severely). We have not continue HBOT or foot baths simply due to current financial limitation, but I plan to begin again as soon as we are able. Have you given any consideration to the bumps being an inflammation indication rather than just yeast? Guest guest
It is a little " tub " for your feet kind of like what they would use in a spa for a pedicure. There are plates in it to give the water possitive and negative ionic charges. This pulls toxins out of your body. You will be frieked out at what comes out of your body through the pores in your feet in to the water in the foot bath. The water changes color based on where in your body the toxins are being pulled from. It starts out clean, clear water, and then will change as the foot bath goes on. My son's changed to an orangeish color which is an indication of liver and kidney function issues. You could also see little flecks of metal floating in the water. My mom did one after seeing his because she was curious to see what he water would do. Her water turned a brownish color(can't remember what that means), and there were metal flecks and this foamy whiteish stuff that the nurse said was yeast in the water. Yeah, it will pull out metal, yeast, bacteria, and who knows what else. The biggest thing that I noticed was that iel's little bumps on the backs of his arms disappearred. The orangey color is also supposed to be indicative of cellular debris being removed, and the bumps(we already knew) were due to cellular inflammation. The bumps came back a few weeks after we stopped treatment with the foot bath, but haven't come back as severely. I'd love to do it again, but we don't have any place local(that I know of) where it can be done. We did iel's ionic foot baths while doing HBOT in the Raleigh area. I had had friends do the foot baths long before we let iel try it,and they always would talk about their energy level seeming to be much higher for about four to six weeks after the foot bath. I'd love to try it on me, too, but don't know that it is safe to do during pregnancy...with all of that toxic stuff like probably metal moving around in me. I've never asked about safety during pregnancy. Anyway, I'd recommend it.
