Guest guest
Hello all. Laurie's post to raised a question with me. She was talking about frequent visits to your pain clinic/pain doc to get refills of pain meds. I'm wondering if all of you that are on Schedule II drugs (duragesic/fentanyl patch, percocet, etc.) go in every single month to get a new hard copy prescription, or do you phone your doctor to request and pick up at their station, or what? I'm in Minnesota and doctors can't write a prescription with refills for Schedule II drugs. The pharmacy's have to have a new hard copy Rx each time you fill. Most of the time I call in and remind him to write the Rx and I pick it up. Do you all see your pain doctors once a month, or is MN just wierd in how it handles? Thanks, SamT
