Guest guest
Oh shoot, you know I completly forgot to tell him about my own personal OR table...LOL. He and I have known each other for avery long time and he would get a kick out of that. I will for sure have to tell him next week when I go back. We all get a little amnesia when we go to the doc dont we..*S*. I did talk with im about all this pain and he said it was probably the most painful surgery to have and since I had it twice in 2 weeks its a double whammy. He showed me the cat scan, his words 'its a really cool scan'. It was, totally awesome looking, you can see the blood vessles, nerves and intestine all squeezing out of the little tunnle and laying under what looked like a sheet of paper *my skin). It was really wild looking. He wrote for more pain meds and asked me if I was eating, guess I must look a little green around my gills. He also said my blood sugars should stailize when I heal more and am more comfortable. I hope so, this morning is was 258, that is fasting too. I aksed him how everthing else looked inther and he said he didi a clean sweep and all looks well, but that he stayed clear of my liver, where the islets were transplanted. So all in all it was a good visit, ohh yeah, he removed one of the jp drains, so I guess I had a partial orchiectomy...LOL. The other one should be pulled next week. So next wednesday will be even busier as I am to see the plastic surgeon at noon then the GI surgeon at 1 and they are on different sides of town. My duaghter is driving me around since it is still too painful to drive, all the breaking an d such. Even in my great big tank of a touring sedan. Well thanks for asking, I appreciate it. How are you feeling? Take care and talk soon,
