He has certain questions he wants answered and approximately 1 entire page per question. It can be 1/2 a page for some questions and more than a page on others. Don't skimp. He wants to know you have done your research. It is not just about how you feel about being obese. Dr. Rutledge wants to know that you know the difference between the RNY,DS and MGB. Keep reading the manual and the info on the patient letter and it will all come together for you. It takes time.... I probably researched close to 80-100 hours before deciding on the MGB and starting my paperwork. Bet of luck in your WLS quest and welcome to the MGB list. Guest guest
Joni, Thank you for your response about the letter. After I got off line I read the manual and " dah " there it was plain as day. I read through must of the manual (pages 1-36 out of 56) before my printer ran out ot black ink.I had about 5 pages print out with only 5 or 6 words on it , because they were in red before I caught it. But I'll go on line tomorrow and read the rest. Thank You again for the reply. Guest guest
Donna, I believe they have a sample letter you can check out. I followed that letter and put it in my own words with my own experiences.. Believe me if you explain exactly how sad you are about being obese, and how much you want this particular surgery to change your life forever you'll be able to type 9/10 pages...
