Guest guest
This whole stipulation for ASD kids is new to me-can anyone recommend some brand names for sugar free bacon? I've scoured the shelves at Whole Foods and read low sodium labels until my eyes were sore, but have yet to find a brand in a store that does not contain sugar. I'm not too keen on ordering it online. Teena
Guest guest
There is a Gwaltney sugar free bacon which we've found here at Food Lion in NC. My daughter ate it for a while because sugar brings on migraines for her. We've not tried it on the SCD, and I'm pretty sure it has nitrates in it. Guest guest
I just found two brands without sugar and illegals at the supermarket. I could not find any free of sweeteners among the health food store brands. aneetw wrote: This whole stipulation for ASD kids is new to me-can anyone recommend some brand names for sugar free bacon? Guest guest
Isn't prosciutto (sp?) sugar-free and legal? I see that in all the stores. > > I just found two brands without sugar and illegals at the supermarket. Guest guest
Read the label carefully and make sure that it comes from Italy. Mimi > Isn't prosciutto (sp?) sugar-free and legal? I see that in all the stores.
Guest guest
Not necessarily. I have checked in a couple of local grocery stores, and what they carry has dextrose in it...way illegal.
