Guest guest
went pretty well I guess. The site where the tube was placed is healing well. They of course had to pull and twist on it and made it sore again. They did explaian and even showed me a tube like the one they put in. He said he thinks the pancreatitis was just acute after each ERCP and cutting of the ducts (Jan and March). He said the ducts should stay open and need no further cutting or stenting. From what I have read on here and the fact that the first one in Jan. was already closing off in March makes me wonder though. I do have gastroparesis and there is nothing that can be done for that. The feeding tube is a good treatment since I am still not able to eat though. I still feel like I could have the chronic Pancreatitis though from the pain and the other symptoms and what I have studdied on here and elsewhere. I guess we will have to wait till I feel I am having another flare and see then. The nausea is still bad but the pain is about half of what it was. On the same note I have not been eating either so I am not sure how to judge that. That is all I know for sure and from what I have looked into before the gastroparesis is maybe not as painful but just as grim a diagnosis as the pancreatitis. Either way I will have chronic pain and nausea to deal with from now on.
