It works great but is very expensive and my insurance company will only allow me to have a certain amount in a given time. That has been my saving grace from nausea. Zofran does come in an elixir (liquid), which I use. It is very expensive, but my insurance company has never balked. I get relief within three to five minutes. And, to me there is nothing worse than the feeling of nausea or that brink of needing to vomit. I did not have the same success with tablets as my malabsorption problems interfered with adequate absorption of the medication.
