Guest guest
I can understand how she feels. When I had my thorascopic surgery last month my iv infiltrated and then my bp was too low to get any pain medicine. An IV nurse tried 3 times and I was in so much pain I couldn't stand it. I even cried myself to sleep. Since my incisions were in my back it was hard to lay on my back. Finally a nurse who worked in peds came in and I told her to put the iv in the vein on my thumb. It hurt pretty bad but at least I was getting some fluids. I finally told the nurse and doctor that since I wasn't able to get any pain meds that I wanted to go home. I don't think my surgery was anything near Bridgitte's but I can understand the pain and not getting the pain medication.
