Guest guest
You are 100% right. The nausea and vomiting is the worse. Especially the dry heaves. It got to the point that I was taking zofran prophylactically several times a day. The only problem I had with getting the pills was that my insurance co would only allow 30 pills in 30 days. If I recall correctly. that is why I got thelarger dose and would break them in half. I did have a few exceptions to that rule and a few times the ins co would allow more, but that was when I was at my sickest. Have you tried the melt aways. They are sublingual and melt instantly once placed in your mouth. I do believe the dosage is only 4mg, I could be wrong about that tho. They work instantly and were great when I was not able to tolerate anything swallowed. For quite some time I would take the zofran about 30 minutes or so before I ate to make sure I would keep it down. It certainly didn't do much for the pain but being able to keep down food helped a lot with maintaining as much strength as I possibly could. I hope your doing well. Guest guest
, I had Zofran OT...and they were 8mg I believe. They still didn't help me much with the nausea and vomiting..oh and they tasted okay also..almost like that pavlova I made us..has a meringue flavour to them, but does leave an aftertaste..
