Karyn,

The fun six months ago was full extraction of all of my upper teeth, well, those

remaining, that is! I think they took out 11 at one time.....and then upper

dentures were installed. This time it was the two front lower teeth. We were

hoping to save all the lower teeth, but those two just kept losing more and

more bone to the point where they had already begun to separate and were

loose to the touch or my tongue. It was just a matter of me biting into the

next

sandwich or chewy roll, and they would have come out on their own..... I was

afraid I'd be out eating somewhere in public and have that happen.

My upper dentures are fitting well and causing no problems thus far. I forget

that I even have them most times. Hopefully once they get the permanent

work done on these two lower teeth, and put in two crown on two of the others

that kicked up this year, I'll be done with all of this dental drama for a long,

long time. That's my hope, anyway.

With love, hope and prayers,

Heidi
