Guest guest
Well Debz I think you and I have one thing in common, I am also the patient from he**. Anything that can go wrong will, with me...LOL. It does sound as tho you are having an allergic reaction. Have you ever had phenergan before, or nuerotin before? You can take benedryl for the hives and itiching but it is best to never take the med again that caused the allergic reation. Never ever! You have been through the ringer and then over again. I am so very sorry for that. Have you consulted a lawyer yet about that Marques DiSade of a pain doc? Girl I would, and would jump on that quick as I can. Your meds bills are only going to get higher and it all his fault!! I know its hard to even think about right now when you are feeling so lousy and weak. My heart goes out to you sweetie and I truly hope that this new doc will have you squared away and feeling better as soon as possible. Warmly,
Guest guest
Hey Debs, It beats me why all this is happening to you. You know I take 18,000 mgs. of Neuronton each day and it helps me like crazy....but I'm sure that what you had was a bad allergic reaction and it means you need to stay away from that stuff completely! The phergan, too, sounds as though it needs to be added to your " allergic " list, it shouldn't be doing that to you at all. Hopefully they can find something else that will work as well for you. It sounds as though this new doctor is trying his best to find good solutions for you, but since we all have such different tolerances for the meds, it's going to be a lot of trial and error before they can find what's best for you. Could you not stay on the morphine for the time being? I know that you're hurting and feeling miserable, and I wish there was something I could do to help you out....that other quack really made a mess out of you and you need to make him sorry that he did. What is the story with Colin? Has he shaped up? You two have been together a long time and been through so much together. You helped him out so much with his daughter some time back, and he owes you for that, and so much more. You're going to get out of this awful cycle, it's just going to take some time, but I do think the new Pain doctor is trying his best to help you. Please keep letting us know what's going on! Guest guest
Hi Yes I have had neeurontin once before, years ago and phergan once before. The neurontin made me break out in welts, and then th ephernergan made me totally out of it for 2 days and I had to take huge doses of morphien to bring back the pain. yes I will be follwoing up on the nasty pain doc. I have recived my medical notes today and am readign them. He says that I have neurpathic and somatic pain not nociceptive and so am tryign to work out what that means alos chroni pain syndrome yeh right. doesnt explain why worse when i eat. My new pain doc has refereed me to a doc to look at my constipation and back up...its particularly bad and been goign on for a lon time they did an xray in hospitla and found there was a back up high in bowel, not sure what that ,eans but i swing from constipation to diarrhea and it was green blackk last time so they think i have bleedign from my stomach now due to voltaren. I am also going to see a pysch again to do hypnosis and also a psych to look at my antidepressantss. I am readin my notes and some of these nurses took my own meds away i wen to thospital with saying they could be stolen. Int he notes it more or less says I was slipping pills without ttellign them. I always told them. i was fruious at the time and told my mum who jumped on them. As usual it was an older nurse. I mean where do they get off?/ Does anyone else have ther emeds taken away and locked up? thanks debs
