Guest guest
Several of us on SCD lists have been trying to help a mom whose child showed very severe regression, extreme weight loss and bleeding recently. Her DAN doctor refuses to help further as did her conventional pediatrician. Something seemed " off " about this decision by doctors, The parent has a fear of doctors and hospitals and has now consulted a doctor at one of our supplement sources and is depending on him for advice. He suggested a commercial baby food. BTVC, our websites and support list home pages are clear that this is a nutritional approach to healing and does not substitute for medical intervention when it is clearly indicated as necessary. Even the most seasoned SCD counselors are not qualified or prepared to advise in situations where medical intervention is absolutely indicated. Don't fool around. Advice , prayer, suggestions and support can encourage and comfort, but starvation and internal bleeding must be addressed by a professional health care worker and promptly if not immediately.
