Guest guest
W from Wisconsin, I was so impressed with what you wrote about your stenting...I'm not as sick as you are yet..( I have been in 89)..But I feel that my duct also swells shut...My GI who did the first stenting sent me away as though that was I would ever need done...So reading all of everyone's post sure helps...It gives me and inside picture of what is happening with everyone and that I'm not alone... My biggest problem right now is weight gain and no energy..My A1C's are high but my FBS is normal...I get nauseated ,but nothing like yours. I take Phenergan PRN and it to can make me sleepy. Now I have Pneumonia...I half wonder if that isn't caused by a stent being left in and causing me to not fight infections. My platlets are up around 400. But I do not have a high white blood count. My GI told me my MRCP would have showed him the stent was still in. Thank You Again, in Ga. from Ohio Heidi...the board is not negative ...I've found thsi support group helpful. Guest guest
, weight gain and no energy sounds more like you are having a thyroid problem. I had that happen to me. I was gaining weight even though I was barely eating anything and I was so tired I would fall asleep everytime I sat down. And since I can't stand for long periods of time due to a back injury, I sit down a lot. My doctor did a blood test to test my thyroid hormone level and it was low. It's called hypothyroidism. You might want to see if your doctor will check this for you just to at least rule it out. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@...
