Guest guest
Hello everyone, As I always do when I've been away from the board, I feel pretty bad about not being in touch. We had a poaible " downer " about Jim in that his PSA level was a bit hgher after his prostatectomy than it should have been. (0.2 whereas it should have been no more than 0.1) It doesn't seem much but two consecuitive readings of 0.2 are taken as reasonable evidence that some cancerous cells are still there. Radiotherapy might be a further possibility. We are seeing the consultant on Wed. to get the results of another PSA test. I'm afraid that's why I haven't quite felt up to posting. I'm feeling more at ease with things now. I'll be back again soon. In the meantimt I wish everyone as much painfree time as poss. My own CP is, or appears to be, unchanged just at the moment. Jim has made a marvellous recovery from the surgery, despite the recent blip. He is positive and philosophical. I tend to be the opposite, at least at the beginning of a life " crisis " but then I adapt. Warmest regards to all, Fliss (UK)
