Guest guest
Hi & Laurie. I've been reading your recent posts regarding ovarian cysts and a possible link to pancreatitis. In 2003 I had my ovaries removed because a 12cm cyst (cystadenoma) had totally enveloped one of my ovaries and the other had a smaller cyst. I'll be curious if a link is found. Guest guest
I guess cysts are a pretty common occurance in the female species. More than I thought. alot of woman aren't even aware they have them sometimes. so one can be shocked and frightened to find out at their anual visit that there's a cyst upon examination. Your's was HUGE SamT. were you aware you had one that large? I never gave it any thought about the possiblity of CP and ruptured ovarian cysts. I don't think the fluid would cause perment damage to the pancreas but then again, I'm not a doctor and could be wrong. it's a thought though that needs to be considered. Until I met Laurie, I hadn't given it any thought. I thank you both very much for sharing your stories and thoughts of this subject with me. I find it extemely interesting and maybe something to look into. S. ---------------------------------
