Patty,

Thank you for your reply and your positive spirit.

One has to know that my mother is a retired FNP (Family Nurse

Practitioner), now referred to as an NP (Nurse Practitioner). Even

she has a hard time with my illness in spite of her background and

knowledge about illness and all that. I just don't get it. I also

don't get how doctors don't understand either! I guess it is part and

parcel of the medical profession as a whole.
