Guest guest
I had really hoped all tht would be behind me. Well I have an infection somewhere in my belly ther is also either a hematoma or a seroma. I'm not sure which because my doc had gone out of town. His associate and resident wanted to admit me to put me on IV anti'bi's but I saaid no. The last thing I need is a bunch of residents poking and prodding where they dont belong. I am complicated to say the very least. Well one thing they did tell me is that when I had the second surgery, the emergency one, I was septic. I had wondered why I was on such strong anti'bi's and sent home with a 2 week supply but I dont know why they wouldn't tell me that. I guess in a way its really better they did't. My fater had died of complications of septicemia and I probably would have freaked out. Anyway they told me if my temp goes over 101 to go to the ER immediately. I hope this is the last of it because I dont think I cant take much more. I feel like my body is just giving up and breaking down. I am so tired and weak at least the post op pain is starting to get a little better. Well wish I had some cheese to go with all this whining...LOL At least now I know why I have been feeling so lousy. Hopefully this dose of antibi's will knock out the infection and I can start to heal from the inside out. I hope everybody has a wonderful weekend and a Happy FAthers day to all the dads and grandads out there. Warmly,
Guest guest
, Girl your cup runneth over! I am praying for an end to this misery for you. I am amazed you are even able to get to the computer! I know what you mean about the residents. I had them coming by all the time since mine was a pancreas divisum and so many wanted to learn about it. One came in and thumped my incision. I wanted to smack him in the head and say what in the heck are you doing? LOL! It was kind of funny after wards but at the time I didn't think so! He treated me like a watermelon trying to see if I was ripe! lOL! Take care and feel better!
