Guest guest
Thank you Walt I really do appreciate your kind words. Sometimes I get really down and fall into that pity fest of 'why me'. Today was a busy day and I am not feeling so hot at all. A few years ago I could have done a day like today on my hands and I am not even 44 yet (so we are still very young). I didn't want the oxy the doc had written for me today. I tried to talk him out of it, but I am glad he did because I have already had to take 15mgs. So I know what you mean about trying not tot ake the breakthough meds. Its kind of like that old saying 'just when you think it safe to go back in the water'. I have had alot of surgery with a total with auto islets 7 months ago and thought that was going to be the end of all this, but nooooo not for me, one of the fortunate few. You are very fortunate to have your parents to support you. Do you have children? I have 3 my eldest is a 19 year old girl and she has been wonderful. She takes care of me andhas made a lot of sacrifices including going to a major university out of state, pre-med, and chose to stay here to study and lives at home. I feel terrible about that. She has missed out on that whole college experience, the dorming and what not. Are you in Washington state or DC? Thats great you have such good doctors. So many people have had such horrible times with phsycians who lack skill and understanding of this disease. I also have good docs and feel very fortunate in that regard as well. I hope that things settle down for you some more after your ERCP. I remember it always took several weeks after I had them for things to calm. It did seem to help me for a little while. I hope it will help you for a very long time. Warmly,
