, I do have trouble emptying the stomach smong many other GI

issues. Like chronic pancreatitis, megacolon, candida in the GI. I

don't have any words of wisdom. It is not easy to deal with. No food

after my evening meal. I am on Zantac. It helps a little. I was on

reglan but could not tolerate. Any specific questions? DEb

  • 1 month later...

I was re reading a post you had on gastroparesis. I have it along

with many other problems but it is getting worse. The food just comes up

in my mouth after eating anything. Did you find that sugar made it

worse? My MD's say that the sugar slows down motilitiy anyway. Did you

try and get off the sugar or did it not bother you? I know everyone is

different. I think you just have to go with your symptoms. But this is

awful. I have pancreatities from the Cystic Fibrosis I have with many

lung complications. But the GI problems are the worse. I am going to

have another endoscopy the end of the month. I am full of candida from

my lung to fingers to GI tract. That is another reason I need to get off

the sugar. I am also insulin resistant. Any words of wisdom would be

greatly appreciated. I think right now I just need to rest the system

and go on liquids. I have only had pureed food for over a year now.

Everything I put in my mouth causes me pain. Take care and hope to hear

from you soon. Deb
