Heidi,

I forgot you also asked about my daughter, Nikki, in your post. Nikki and

have been married just over a year now. I know I am quite biased

but they are a truly remarkable young couple. They are so committed to God,

family, and each other. They share common goals and values for their lives

today and in the future. In case you can't tell, I'm incredibly proud of

both of them. Nikki just completed her masters degree in education. Her

undergrad degree is in English so she is certified to teach 6th - 12th grade

English. She was hired in early June at a middle school outside of

Birmingham. She'll be teaching 6th to 8th grade English/Language Arts. I'm

not sure if I told you or not, but is an accountant and works in

Birmingham. She and are going to move to a new apartment next

month so they will both be closer to work.

My stepdaughter, , is doing well, also. She and her boyfriend, Luke,

got engaged on Nikki and 's wedding day but they still haven't set a

date. should graduate with a degree in business administration in

May 2007 so the wedding will probably be sometime after that. and

Luke say they are going to get married in Hawaii and then just have a simple

reception here after the honeymoon. Their main reason for that is because

of 's psycho mother and the other jerks on 's mom's side of the

family. So, as far as their wedding goes, who knows. Even if they do have

it around here, it will be a pretty simple wedding.
