Guest guest
I will be out of town from Sunday, June 26, 2005, through Tuesday, July 5, 2005. I will be in Bardstown, Kentucky. If there is anyone who lives in that area of the county, please give me a call on my cell phone at . I would love the opportunity to meet you. When I last wrote, I thought I was finally seeing light at the end of a long tunnel of an exacerbation of this disease, but it was only a mirage. The last two weeks have been even more difficult with adjusting my insulin, managing my pain, discovering my thyroid level was very high and undergoing serious medication changes, and controlling a sudden onset of quite severe lower extremity edema, which has gone up to my thigh. Overall, it has been exhausting. I am essentially stable at this point, with " time will tell " as the current plan of care as I continue to implement the medication changes. Staying home would only feed my depression and isolation. Though you do not hear form me as much as I would like to be able to post, you are always in my thoughts and prayers. I try to keep up with how everyone is doing, who is having surgery, who is recovering from surgery, saying prayers for those with concerns, and celebrate in spirit your joys. Guest guest
Karyn, I am so sorry to hear you are not well. I was hoping things were getting better for you. I will keep you in my prayers and enjoy your vacation. You deserve it and the change of scenery should really help your spirits!
