Guest guest
Jill, Please don't think that it would be " inappropriate " for you to be involved with this group because your CP is related to your CF. The cause of your pancreatitis doesn't matter to us, all we are interested in is supporting and helping ANYONE with chronic pancreatitis. As you know, CP is not a condition that many people understand or show emphathy for. People don't understand it, and usually don't want to learn or understand about it, when you tell them that's why you're not feeling so well today..... Yet we do understand it better than anyone, and want to help anybody else who has problems or questions dealing with the disease. So please don't ever feel that you aren't welcome or don't have license to be here just like anyone else with CP. HOW we got here is only one part of the whole equation, there's much more to it than that, and it's what's going on now and afterward that we can change, or help others to deal with. We can't change the causes that brought us here, but we can, to a degree, change what happens from this point forward, both spiritually and medically, and you are as deserving of that attention as anyone else. So please stop by again, and frequently. With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Guest guest
Heidi, Thanks so much for your kind words. I remember you well and remember your kindness and thoughtfulness. I also remember a bit about you, medically. How have you been feeling? When I was last on you were trying, for the 2nd time, to get SSD. I'm hoping you were finally approved. It's a long, nasty process but worth it once approved. You're right that people don't " get it " . It's the age-old " you don't look sick " . Makes my skin crawl. I have so many things going on, even now, and I still get that. Anyway, just wanted to say thank you. Fondly, Jill To Jill Decker Jill, Please don't think that it would be " inappropriate " for you to be involved with this group because your CP is related to your CF.
