Guest guest
Hi , I am happy that you are managing fairly well at work. I bet you will get better at figuring out what works and doesn't as you go along. It can be hard as many times there doesn't seem to be any cause and effect for what we do and what happens. The day that you think you have figured it out, is the day that the whole pain / nausea thing throws something new at you. But some suggestions based on what I have learned....is basically eat smaller meals if possible and really, really watch your fat. I have noticed that I have sorta like a " bank " of fatty food allowances. If I expect to be eating a higher fat meal in a day or two (like a birthday celebration or something) then I eat really low fat for the couple of days beforehand to build up a " credit " . I have also found that the longer I can avoid eating " real " food the better off I start to feel. But then I get the craving for more substantial food after a week or so, so I try to add that to my diet but in small amounts per day. I guess in a way, I also ration my energy, based on what I expect to happen in the immediate future and the near future. If I have a big day planned, then I try to have a more restful day before that. The main thing is to not fight in your mind what is going on in your body. That is the hardest lesson I have learned and am still learning: That it isn't copping out to have to rest or stop doing activities that I still feel a 90 year/old can do without getting tired. It is very humbling. Other than that I cannot think of anything else to add. It is very trial and error and can change from one day to another.....
