Guest guest
I ask all three list serves at once, in hopes to find a moderator that can guide me to this answer. HOW do we know when SCD is not going to work for us? Did Elaine leave any answers anywhere? Can you please share if she did answer this. Our daughter has healed significantly on SCD. But with the diagnosis of mitochondrial disease I truly do not know what to do. I am at a cross roads. Guest guest
Elaine said tht she hoped that no one who recovers from his or her problem by following the SC Diet ever return to a diet high in refined sugar and refined flours. If sympotms recur upon the introduction of a forbiddend food. It is best to remain on the SC Diet longer. I know that Kiki has not recovered yet from her disease, yet. But if she gets worse when she eats the SA Diet [sad American Diet] I would stay on the SC Diet. Stay on the SC Diet for at least a yar after the last symptom has disappeared. Page 52 in BTVC.
