Guest guest
I have extensive mesh in my abdomen to replace the areas where I have lost muscle due to tumour surgery. Someone on my tumour support group read an article in the Washington Post " on page A4 of the Washington Post there's an article which says the EPA has declared some ingredient in teflon and Gore-Tex a known carcinogen. " Although there are many new versions of mesh, it might be an idea for those that have mesh in their bodies to ask their doctors what was used. Some people are going to ask their doctors about having the mesh removed and replaced with Alloderm. Also was brought up if Insurance companies would cover this replacement surgery in this instance.
