Guest guest
We used to use Pharmax (european) brand which is cultured from human strains. Is this possibly legal, because it is from a human source even though it has illegal strains? , My youngest had multiple abdominal surgeries and when she was in the hospital I pumped my milk since she was NPO. When I got home I made it into keifer and fed it to her. I personally would not make it into yogurt since you know the source is a clean source (why heat it and destroy some of the value?) I would make keifer out of it instead. There is a way to make lactose-free keifer. Also does your lactose intolerant child actually have a lactose deficiency (missing the enzyme)? They could possibly check the newborn for that at birth. - Hinojosa wrote: Hi Carol, I think I might have a topic that would warrant Elaine's response if she were here. I have been a little hesitant to bring it up but I thought this thread is a good place to do it. I am pregnant with my second and am expecting a child similar to the one I already have so I am gearing up for SCD with an infant. If the infant shows signs of lactose intolerance, which my son did right away at 2 days old, can I culture my breast milk? and make human yogurt?
