Hmm, brown on top. That doesn't sound too nice. Doesn't anyone make a

yogurt maker that will maintain a good temperature during the summer?

LOL I even tried putting the maker in our air conditioned bedroom and

it still got too hot. Right now I have to alternate between running

the yogurt maker with the lid off for a while and then turning it off

and putting the lid on for a few hours, then turn it back on with the

lid off, etc etc. I want a yogurt maker I can plug in and leave alone

for 24 hours.

Is it a pain having to deal with all those little jars? The one I have

now (yogourmet) just has one big jar.

So far this summer, I haven't had a temp problem with the yogurt. Later on,

it gets really hot though. We'll see if I have the same problem this year.

When I first got the yogurt makers (I have two), I thought it would be

easier to take jars as I went. I also thought making French Cream and

yogurt at once was a good idea or having one for savory and one for sweet.

Now I want a big maker so I can easily make a batch of strawberry yogurt

(strain the seeds and use the juice from frozen or something). It is

convenient in a way...unless you get tired of emptying jars and washing

them. Also, I'd like to try some ice cream and a big maker would be easier

but it'll have to wait. At least with two of the makers, it makes plenty so

I just empty the jars :).
