Guest guest
, Thanks! I am glad to hear you are getting out and about. Are you feeling better? I am going tomorrow to have more x-rays and test for this blasted kidney stone! I am sitting on my heating pad right now. I have not been able to get off of it much today. I don't have any strong pain meds in the house. I weaned myself off of everything but darvocet and hydrocodone. I wish I had something stronger right now though. I am miserable. Sorry to whine. The kidney stone is not quite as bad as the pancreas pain though. I have been blessed with a pretty high pain tolerance so I can deal ok. I hope tomorrow they decide to go ahead and do the thing where they crush it or something. I thought I had passed it but I didn't. I started moving again on Sunday. I spent the whole day Sunday throwing up and fighting pain. I didn't want to go back to the ER. So I toughed it out. Yesterday was a little better but today has been a doozy! Tomorrow will tell the tale! I hope you are getting better and stronger every day! Guest guest
Hey, how are you feeling? I hope that you have fully recovered from your surgery or at least feeling a ton better. Did ya'll ever go on that camping trip you were planning a while back? I have been beaching it a lot with the kids. It is one of few places I can take them where all I have to do is pack a cooler with snacks and drinks (as long as they carry the cooler...LOL) and then just sit there and watch them have at it and not have to worry about entertaining them. Besides it is so hot outside the beach is so much cooler. Take care and let me know if there is anything you need. Warmly,
Guest guest
I cant believe that youhave had such a horrible time of it withthose stones. Talk about bad timing. Do talk the docs into doing the lipsotripsy (sp?) to balst those kidney stones. I have had somany patients with them and I know how excruciating they can be. That procedure works great. Did they ever say whay you have these so often? I am doing alittle better but its slow going. There is so much I cant do and that frustrates me terribley. Its only been 6 weeks since the emergency surgery and 8 weeks from that other one so I guess it really hasn't been that long. We have really enjoyed the beach. I love to take long walks when I go but have not been able to do much walking with out the pain stopping me in my tracks. I ran out of pain meds a couple of days ago and it has just been horrible. But at least I can lay on the sand and let the kids play and even float around in the water to cool me off. Let me know what the doctor has to say tomorrow and know that you are in my prayers. I hope you not having any panc pain any longer and tht your surgery is healing well. Warmly,
