Guest guest
Cindy, If waffles don't bother you, and you haven't eaten anything in three days, I don't see why having them would be a problem. I'm not a waffle or pancake eater, but wasn't aware that they were considered high in fat, are they? Back pain is a common problem for people with CP. In fact, for some patients, their back pain is more severe and discomforting than the abdominal pain. Then there's others, like me, who get both back pain and abdominal pain during an episode. My pain is usually all along the mid back line, where a bra strap would be, and then it radiates up into my left shoulderblade. Where is your back pain? My most favored sleeping position is on my right side, with my legs drawn up toward my chest, what is sometimes called the " fetal position " . I put a heating pad on my abdomen and on my back, turned up to medium, and that's usually the only position I can sleep in during a bad flare. The heating pads help tremendously. I hope this helps.
