I love what I do. You have strengthened my resolve. I have been asking God, what, why and when for months now<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Hi , I feel the same way. I am an ER nurse, have been an RN going on 20 years. I have been off since Nov. 04 to now due to the CP and Lupus. I stopped by the ER yesterday, and it made me so homesick. To get thru this, I remember that the energy I do have (which is little) should be for me and my family. Take this time to use your " well days " for you and your famly. Then, when you feel better, you can MAYBE return to work...but if not, you can volunteer at health fairs, speaking at schools, etc. I was a paramedic (1977) before I was an RN...so I gave many years caring for people, and I truly thought I had many years left (I just turned 46). At least I did many years of teaching about proper pain control...and anyone who knows me at work...knows CP and proper Pain control!!!! Take Care, Debbie, CA.
