Guest guest
Well, my visit didn't go exactly as I had hoped today. The kidney stone has passed, unfortuanetly the pain is coming from the pancreas The doc said the radiologist said it looks like I have another cyst forming and that my bowel where Dr. Adam's went in to do the surgery was very inflamed. So I called and got the stuff faxed to her and she said she would talk to Dr. Adam's on Monday and call me back. This is just so depressing. I wanted to have a pity party today but I kicked myself in the butt and thought it could be worse. I could have found out that I only have 24 hours to live or that they would have to cut out my tongue and I would never be able to talk again!! LOL! Or that I would lose my fingers and never be able to type again! (Oh the horror!) So I am trying to keep an upbeat attitude. After a few tears, I felt better. The doc also gave me something to help me sleep. I haven't been sleeping well with all of the pain. I am fixing to take it and hit the sack. I haven't taken Ambien in a while but I remember to take it when I am in the bed because it makes me do stupid stuff if I am trying to stay up after I take it. My family threatened to videotape me and sell the tapes! LOL! Take care guys and I hope everyone is having a good day! Guest guest
Angie, How sorry I am to hear about the new pseudocyst developing. All I can say is that I hope it's one that they can drain or do something about, or that it will resolve on it's own and stop causing you all this pain. I know exactly what you're feeling!! I believe mine has increased, and that's what's been causing me all this trouble for the past several weeks. I can feel it again, and that area of my abdomen is firm and hard like it was when it increased the last time. Alas, with me, there isn't anything they can or will do. I know you must feel very discouraged and after all that you've been through, a pity party would certainly be justified. I admire your strength and resolve, though, to look at the positive, instead. You're one heck of a good trooper! Since it's been a few days since your update, I hope that during that time you've been able to sleep better and had some more relief. Please keep us updated. Guest guest
Dear Angie Sorry to hear about the radiologists finding. But I was so happy to hear that you passed the stones and are feeling much better today. I know how you feel about doubting things now. Since you are feeling better perhaps the radiologist is wrong? They have been wrong with me several times. Maybe you can pick up the films and give them to Dr. on your visit. Would save you more testing. I hope you continue to feel good and let us know how things go. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, w --------------------------------- Sell on Yahoo! Auctions - No fees. Bid on great items.
