Need help quickly, Salton Yogurt maker

I'm making goat yogurt for the first time. Just got a salton yogurt maker and

manufactures

instructions don't say to add water to the container before putting in the

yogurt container.

Does anyone have this model (1qt) and do you use water in the outer container?

I have a Salton. Do not put in any water.

I have the salton 1 qt. maker. I don't use water in the outer container. I make

cow yogurt. I also have the Yogurmet yogurt maker, and with that one it requires

water in the outer container.
