Guest guest
Hi Sheila, Thanks for your thoughts about what we should do regarding the blood that we're seeing. What you say makes a lot of sense. Our son has only been off the prednisolone for about 4 weeks, and it makes sense that we may need to go back to simpler foods while his body continues to adjust. Do you have any sense of how long we should be more careful, or should we just go by symptoms? We'll cut out broccoli and cauliflower and onions, and cut back on garlic and cilantro and dill and see what happens. This list is such a tremendous help. Thanks again! , mom to 8yo ds with uc since 4/05, scd since 11/06. It can take a long time for the body to be completely back were it was presteroids- but it depends on a large number of factors (how long a person is on steroids, how much healing is necessary, what foods they are eating etc..) <<We'll cut out broccoli and cauliflower and onions, and cut back on garlic and cilantro and dill and see what happens.>> Please let me know in a few days how his symptoms are (either good or bad)on list or offlist sheilat@...
