Guest guest
OK. We were invited to my nephew's birthday last night, and the party is this afternoon. of course, I have nothing on hand to feed my son at the party. I wanted to make the lemon cake with lemon filling from scdrecipe.com, and the cake calls for 1/2 pounds of almond flour. I have no idea how much that is in cups, and I don't have a kitchen scale. Can someone please tell me how much almond flour in cups is the equivalent of 1/2 pounds? Please, please help. Meleah
Guest guest
Meleah, I have made this and it doesn't come out for me. I think Sheila made it a long time ago and it did come out for her. Guest guest
Thank you sooo much. If the cake turns out, my son will love it. I hope it does since I really don't have time to make something else if it doesn't. Meleah Help right away, please OK. Guest guest
Hi Pearl and Meleah, << I have made this and it doesn't come out for me. I think Sheila made it a long time ago and it did come out for her. (If memeory serves me) Pearl>> Yes, it worked for me. I found the lemon curd pretty sweet, my kids like the sweetness though. I think next time I'd reduce the honey. Sheila, SCD Feb. 2001, UC 23yrs, PCOD 22yrs mom of and
Guest guest
Hi Meleah, I checked my printout of the recipe and I used about 2 cups of lightly packed almond flour. Sheila
