I'm glad that I was able to help you earlier. Many times I've

assisted people with references and referrals, but I don't often get

any feedback, so it's nice to know that this has happened for you.

I wish I could answer more of your questions, but the only one that

I've had any experience with was your question concerning heart

problems in relation to pancreatic spasms. When I went DKA there were

irregularities in my EKG and I was placed on a heart monitor for the

duration of the time I was hospitalized. I was assigned a

Cardiologist and after other heart monitoring tests in the hospital

and a clear and strong stress test 6 weeks later, it was determined

that the irregularities were " probably " caused by the pancreatic

spasming. I haven't had any problems since, (knock on wood), although

I am required to have EKG's done every 6 months.

Sorry I can't help you with the rest. Hopefully someone else can, or

will in the near future. Glad to have you with us, and I hope we can

help you with any of your troubles.
