Guest guest
Normal what the heck is that??LOL. I guess having 2 teenagers in the house would erase any and all normalcy from my life..hehe. Did you go to that huge Mall of America. I foget exactly where it is but it has an amusement park in it and stuff like that. I believe they were building one like that in Myrtle Beach where the old air base was but it has been soooo long since I have played up there I have no idea. I usually head up to the outlet parks near Christmas but I couldn't do that last year. Shoot I was in Cincy. I know it must have been beautiful to see your sister. How long has it been? I dont have any family other then my kids so cherish those moments and memories. A well deserved vacayI would say. I am so impressed that you have gone back to work. You are one tough broad Kaye!!!!!! I hope you dont have a need to call Dr. C for a very very long time. Oh and the fall in Chas is fabulous. To be honest I dont even want to be here during hurricane season..*S* and there is another one brewing int he Caribbean. Its gonna be a rough season thats for sure; but I am a 7th generation tonian; we can take it and I dont evacuate either. Stubborn!! Stay well shoog and we'll talk soon,
Guest guest
Two teenagers sounds normal to me! Been there done that and I miss it! I have often wondered what I would have done ahd I gotten sick while they were still minors at home. I had the SOD that was undiagnosed and the poor kids didn't know what was going on just with that pain. Of course you know it was irritable bowel! haha Mall of America is in Minnesota where my sisters oldest lives. I went to Michigan. My sister comes every year and she was here twice after her hubby died so I see her and I talk to her several times a day (one rate calling) but it was great to go to her house and sit at her table. My favorite thing was we went to this little shop called everything U.K. that is run by two English ladies and you have authentic scones and tea and finger sandwiches. The building is a little rock building. It is my favorite place now! I ate scones and jam and clotted CREAM and it did not bother me! Sometimes I feel bad saying that because so many are sick, but there is hope. I think what it takes to bring someone back to health varies with each individual. I am hoping and praying that bile duct stays open for good now. As far as working, the company I work for has us at home so while it is a big thing to me, I could not " go out " to work I don't think. Now, I am suffering from muscle spasms in my arm and back from sitting and typing. ACtually went to the ER yesterday to make sure it was not another blood clot like February. BTW, had a blood clot in November and one in February at the site of aPICC line. They did a bunch of DNA tests and found out I had " factor V Leiden " which is a gene mutation towareds blood clotting. Not full blow factor V deficiency (which you would have if both parents had this) but enough to cause worry. Since I haven't had problems except with " forein bodies " they are going to just watch things. For years I bled, they told me after testing I had Von Willebrand disease which is a bleeding disorder as you probably know. How you can " flip " from bleeding to clotting is beyond me! I am getting a lot of flack about working from my family. They are afraid I will lose my SS benefits. Well, if I work long enough and make enough I will. But SS has safeguards in place as far as starting your benefits back up if you can't work. Plus, I would rather work if I can. Its good for the mind. I just ignore them all! hehe Great talking to you Chrissy. I pray you and everybody with this stuff feels better every day!
