Guest guest
I am at my wits end with my son's bloating. I have pulled almost everything out of his diet trying to figure this out. The scenario is this - he wakes up and his belly is just fine. He eats and within a few hours he is bloated and I cannot figure out what is causing it. I have pulled out all supplements. Today I added digestive enzymes to see if that would help, but it didn't. The past several days he wakes up (with a flat belly) for breakfast he eats 2 popscicles made with well cooked purreed acorn squash, well cooked purreed peaches, well stewed purreed prunes, coconut oil. About two hours later, his belly is bloated. Bloating aside, his behavior is really great and he has been making wonderful progress, but this bloating is driving me nuts. It has to be a food issue (rather than yeast or bacteria) because there is a correlation to eating and when it appears. We've been detective-izing for weeks and it does not seem to make any difference what he eats, it's just always the same, wake up fine, eat and be bloated the rest of the day. Currently, the only other things in his diet besides the popscicles are cooked carrots, cooked peas, hamburger, boiled chicken, a little honey. He is 2 1/2 and has been SCD for almost 5 months. Thank you!!!!
Guest guest
Hi , Besides the bloating how are his bowels? What are the frequency of bm's? Are you using epsom salt baths and/or activated charcoal - they may help with the gas.
