Guest guest
, You wrote, " MUSC has a great pain management dept. " That is wonderful to know. Indianapolis is quite short on adequate pain management doctors / clinics. There may be a couple, but for the most part they are all shy when it comes to prescribing narcotics. Indiana University Hospital has a pain management clinic, but their services are limited to blocks, etc. They were voted one of the top 50 pain clinics in the US, but I am not sure what criteria they use. Since my GI knows I need narcotics he writes them. He is the one who told me it is next to impossible to find a pain management doctor willing to write scripts.
