Guest guest
I would not do what we did. We ate a bowel full of the yogurt the first days. It caused a miserable and powerful " die Off " . Die off can feel like a horrible flu! This transition is not easy...but can be controled a bit. Go slow introducing the yogurt. Always folowing BTVC and taking accidolphilus and SCD compliant vitamins and B complex with it. If severe " die off " results, www.pecanbread has some guidelines on how to introduce it. We could not tolerate the " dry curd " until we had healed significantly. I truly don't know why. Maybe becasue the casein is not denatured enough. We where able to tolerate the 30 day fermented Goat cheddar after introductory diet. Same with the goat yogurt (but had to drip it for the first few months). Try not to confuse " die off " symptoms with " allergy " or intolerance. This is often done by newbies (as it was done by us too). For " die off " there are things you can do. Tell the serve if you experience " die off " and we will share solution. Antoinette (Scd 2/06)
