Guest guest
Hi! I went to a naturopath/nutritionist some months ago (before I started scd), and she wanted me to begin Silicea and Bitterstern (bitter herb) drops. I have read the Silicea ingredients and they seem legal (just water and pure silicic acid). I dont think this would be damaging, but wanted to see if anyone has experience with colloidal silicic acid. Product info about its GI effects: http://www.silicea.com/en/anwendungsgebiet/magen_darm.php http://www.silicea.com/en/produkte/_magen_darm.php video: http://www.silicea.com/en/mineralstoff_silicium/kieselerde_kieselsaeure.php Bitterstern drops are similar to bitter herb drops in the USA... like gentian root. A person uses 5 drops before a meal in water. The solution is 59% alcohol with loads of plant extracts: carraway, gentian root, cilantro, ginger, dandelion, cassia cinnamon, fennel, root, Alpinia officinarum, Lavendel, Yarrow, Marjoram, Clove. I am considering slowly introducing the silicea again and then adding the bitter herbs in a couple of months (i think the clove is a bit too much now.) Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks! -
Guest guest
You can also take Silicea as a homeopathic preparation which would be gentler -- if your symptoms indicate the need for Silicea as the right remedy. You would need to consult with a homeopath to determine this. wrote: Hi!
