Guest guest
Hi all, I am glad someone brought this up. I have never been told that I have bad breath, but I do get the most awful taste in the back of my throat that I just cannot get rid of. I have CP and SOD and the first time I went to IU for an ERCP and stent placement the first question the nurse asked me was if I had " a bad taste in my mouth/ " I was like, YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They said it is from your pressures being up. The other thing is, this is weird. I always tell people not to touch me or get too close because my " black cloud " will get them!!!!! Three years ago when my son was in Preschool he had a friend in his class and so did my other son and they were brothers. Make a long story short. . .I became very good friends with their mom and she started asking me about pain, nausea, bad taste in her mouth, etc., etc. and I just knew it was SOD. Anyway, she went to see my GI and was put through all the tests, gallbladder, HIDA scan, CT scan, etc. and she was referred to IU for SOD. What are the odds of a friend developing something you have such as this!!!!!!!!! I told her not to get close!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We still laugh about that. Anyway, she also has the same " bad taste. " Sorry, I didn't mean this to be long, but this is what I know about it. Thoughts and prayers to all!!!!!!!! T. (ohio)
Guest guest
I used to have that problem too. It was awful, especially when I worked. I used to carry peppermints in my pocket and those listerine breathe tab thingys. I had one or the other in my mouth constantly. The breathe tabs really helped but you can only take those for so long..LOL
Guest guest
Can I ask what SOD is? I also get a bad taste in my mouth. I thought maybe it was from the meds my doctor has me on. Thanks, K. nancy@... wrote: Hi all, I am glad someone brought this up.
