Hello again-

Day 4, my little food striker is still refusing to eat or drink, with

the exception of water. He is still vomiting off and on, although

clearly there isn't much to come up...

His favorite pre-SCD drinks were Minute Maid fruit punch and

lemonade. I tried the " berried lemonade " recipe in Raman

Prasad's " Adventures in the family kitchen " and he is rejecting it as

well.

Does anyone have any recipe or suggestions for combining legal fruit

juices to " concoct " a fruit punch tasting drink. Would also welcome

any successful ingredient combinations you have used for lemonades?

He is begging me constantly to go buy him his " Muunit Maid punch " (as

he pronounces it) and I am trying hard to come up with a

substitution. He says the minute maid will " fill his tummy and make

him feel better " , but I desperately do not want to give in and give

back the sugar!!

Thanks in advance-

Also thanks so much to those of you who have responded to let me know

this happened with you and yours as well, it is a comfort. Thanks!

Especially to - sounds like your daughter did experience the

same thing, what did you do?? Did she finally just come around on her

own?? Was she rejecting food too or was she trying to eat/drink but

just having the vomiting side effect?
