I had the worse fungal infection a few years ago. It was

particularily worse when I got over heated. It started in my right

hand then went up my right neck to my face and scalp. It itched to

the high heavens and swelled the right eye all up. It looked

horrible. Could you imagine having a nurse walk into your room with

this awful looking rash on their face. Well I went to see a couple

of docs about it was told allergies and all kinds of stuff and

finally one told me it was in the same fungal family as the foot

fungus people get.

She put me on a med (it wasn't lamisil) that you take for one week a

month for 3 months. I wish I could remember the name but sorry I

cant it was some time ago. She also prescirbed a hand cream. By the

end of the first month it was completely gone but I continued the

prescribed 3 month dose. I have not had a problem since and my

toenails even look a lot better...LOL.

I hope you feel better soon and talk with your doc about that med.

It helped me tremendously. From what she told me later I was

immunocompramised by the malnutrition. CP affects every aspect of

your life and body.
