Guest guest
Heidi, Thanks so much! I would love to be able to email if you wouldn't mind asking her if I can email her or if she would email me at Notofarms2@.... I actually had that doc's name on my list of one's to call when the other office referred me to the doc I am trying. It is good to know that there is someone out there who is near me who has a good one to go to!!!! Thanks again and tell her if she doesn't want to email me or me email her I understand completely since I am a complete stranger. I just wanted to ask her some questions about Dr. Downey. Thanks again Heidi, you are so great!!! Angie in SC " The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything that comes along their way. Guest guest
Heidi - You and your son and grandson are in my prayers. What a stressful time for all of you. How have you been feeling through all of this? Cecilia Mesa, AZ
Guest guest
Heidi, I think Doc Sutherland said Lantus in a low dose would be best for me. Says it will rest my cells. I know that bagels are more sense. It's the only thing I have found that stays in me. My gastro is bad. It's better than it was, I used to not be able to eat anything at all. I have been looking for an endo. I found one at Baylor I thought I might call. My GI doc and colon surg work out of Baylor, I thought it best to keep it in one place. I have not had an endo in years. I have always done really well at controling BS with excerise and diet, but now those 2 componts are gone. I was also wondering, after the tp, ict, what kind of doc do I see??? and endo? a gi? an xplant? who does the initial follow up (I will be going out of state). Thanks for the insulin tip. There is NO WAY I would attempt to admin OTC insulin, to me, that insane! Insulin kinda scares me because of the hypo factor, I used to get really bad hypo and it would take several tuves of that gel to get me out of it. My electrolytes were always out of wack and it would take days to recover. I can't afford that. I need to save my energy, ya know? I am going to call this endo guy....ooops! Maybe not, his name is " Mark " ...lol I will call him Monday and see if I can get in. Thanks Heidi, Kat Heidi wrote:Kathleen, " Life's Your Cup, Drink it Up " ...3 Doors Down Kathleen __________________________________________________
